You are amazing! You manage to do more than I do. The weather looks good. I like the few clouds in the sky. Much more my kind of weather! Love and hugs to you Patrick. Long may you fight this awful condition. You give hope to all.
Loved the night time shots of the city.. And that close-up of the shells
I remember Faro: lovely town, just the right size.
I admire you for keeping up the energy and will to travel and keep your photography up. It must be taking more out of you these days, but you're not giving up 👍❣️❣️
Did you know that Portugal and the UK have been allies for over 700 years and that Charles 2nd married Katherine de Briganza who was a Portuguese princess to help maintain the alliance?
Oh my goodness! So much beauty - thanks a thousand times for sharing, Pat. The snow started here this week - just a taste, nothing sticking - but winter is looming over this corner of the world, and, much as I love winter, it was rather thrilling to see your palms and sparkling water, golden sand and all - the pictures of the shells and the bells are wonderful - and it was grand to see you, Pat, out and about. You are a natural wonder yourself.
Hello, I joined website group this summer and think that I have not "spoken" directly with you. I live in the Charleston, South Carolina area in the US. Faro photographs are a lovely excuse to chat with you!. Photographs are beautiful and I am happy for you that you made the trip and made some more good memories. I am fond of Faro, as it was the last "big" trip that Robert and I took. His CBD (onset, 2006) now precludes anything other than regional automobile travel. We played golf (yes, he was able to ride in a cart and step out and hit the ball better than I did!) there three years ago with some friends from Dublin, stayed at the Dona Phillipa out in the countryside a bit. The hills made for some challenging golf, but the views of the sea and the ocean breezes were special.
Hi Patrick, that's good news the holiday went well. The photos are beautiful, thanks for sharing. You are amazing on how you keep going, long may it continue and we get to see you in other destinations. We were in Lagos with my daughter and son in law a few weeks back and had a nice time. Only drawback the disabled apartment was up a hill and separate from the hotel, the roads/footpaths were cobbled brick, not wheelchair friendly at all. However the weather was sunny and warm and W enjoyed the break which was the main thing. Take care, Nanny 857xx
Great photos as usual Patrick, I'm so pleased you managed a successful holiday in Portugal with the help of your trusted carers. Love the fact that you haven't let this pesky disease stop you in your tracks, good man!
Beautiful photos Patrick. I couldn’t find a barge, but bought a houseboat to live on during the summer. You inspire caregivers as well as patients. Living life to the fullest...your adventures help me to want to begin again.
