I don' t think sinemet is helping my sister she can't walk or talk or feed herself and crunches this tablet, I have been told it can't be got in liquid form, should I ask for her to betaken off it?

Dear Nannygoon

Sadly Sinemet did not help my husband and his neurologist took him off it very early on in the disease.

Kind regards

Thanks for that she has been on it for about 3years. I am going to ask for a review of her medication. Thanks again.

Check out these web sites for long-range effects.

Google the "long-range" effects of Sinemet. There are some bad results from long-range usage. I'd be inclined to ask your neurologist if he can come off it if you are not seeing results. Just my opinion non-medical opinion. Jimbo

My husband was on SinemetCR but after the PEG was fitted the neurologist changed it to Madopar dissolvable. He has this drug administered via the PEG. I HOPE THIS HELPS.
