Dear Blackcushion, I'm sorry for you and for your mother, and hope she's not in too much distress. Hang on! There's no easy way out of this; we all have to work our way through to the end. Love matters. Caring matters. Peace, Easterncedar
Dear blackcushion,
I am so sorry to read about your Mum's situation. As easterncedar says "hang on!", keep telling Mum that you love her and that you are there for her.

Blackcushion, Yes fatigue and sleep is a major part of PSP and one you don't hear mentioned much. Sounds like her body is beginning to close down. That happened with my Sharyn. She was fine one week, as fine as PSP patients can be, then in one week her body closed down slowly (not eating or drinking much, no energy, etc.). I hope you will remain strong for your mum and the family. This is a difficult time for her but your love will make a difference to her. Jimbo hugs
So sorry to hear about your mum it will be a happy real ease to her and your family when she passes I lost my husband to this horrible disease 8months ago now that the driver is in just sit with her and tell her every thing that you need to she may be semi conscious but she can still hear you it's not easy but. You will find comfort from telling her all your news and how much you love her also l ooh after yo ureself as you will need all your strength later
Yes hand in there new things are discovered everyday who knows our day maybe tomarrow.
so sorry about your mom
