I thought it might be of interest to some to see the difference a year can make, the photo I'm including this time is of mums birthday last year when she was 69 (Got it right this time Peter Jones lol)

What a lovely photo, we often look back at Mum's last couple of birthdays and as you say what a difference a year can make although mum progressed very quickly. She lost her battle 9 months on from diagnosis.

I think it's really brave of you to post this picture in direct comparison to the previous one. When you see someone every day you don't notice the changes but photographs really highlight them don't they??

I'm so glad your Mum is still able to smile I miss my Mum's smile, it's a very rare sight these days
