Flomax and Me

How do you know when you can go off of flomax? Long term side effects?

I'm 3 months out from my radiation therapy at Kaiser. My flomax script was over at 6 weeks post radiation! Then, my urination was very painful, demanding and frequent. My doctor had no comment other than this was a result of the therapy. I went back on Flomax and my urination is painless [mostly], but still quite demanding and frequent. I get up many times during the night.

If you have a min, can you guys comment on your Flomax usage? And, when you did you know to quit it.

Thank you

T

I used 2 Flomax both together at night, but found Rapaflo worked better for me. There are about a dozen different alpha-blockers you can try - find the one that works best for you. Cialis can also help with those symptoms.

Hi Tall-Allen! do you still take Rapaflo? Wasn't sure if you can take this with no time restrictions? Thank You!

No, I only took it for a few weeks about 12 years ago.
