Visit with RO

I met with my RO yesterday at the West Cancer Clinic in Memphis. Great place! great staff! My doc, Holger Gieschen and his assistant, Angie are super. I have lots of confidence in them and my anxiety has lessened. Spent lots of time and explained things in ways I could understand. I thank you all for the questions to ask and things to consider: diet, exercise, etc. He advised me to stay away from high doses of supplements. Other than that no real changes in diet, exercise, etc. He presented three options for me to consider: external beam-28 fractions, SBRT-5 fractions and brachytherapy. So, I am leaning towards the SBRT. He's very open for me to use Cialis and other drugs (Flomax) if I want during TX. And there is no real rush or urgency to decide or start TX. Did you ever figure out what your Gleason score is? (It is the highest Gleason score noted on your biopsy report).

3+3 The RO also said the GPS score was more Favorable Intermediate rather than Intermediate. Since the second biopsy was completed in 1/2018 he does want another just to make sure nothing has dramatically changed since that time.
