I'm new here. My radical prostatectomy took place in March 2017; in August 2018 I had an artificial urinary sphincter implanted to help with incontinence issues.

Are there alternative treatments like acupuncture or CBD ointments that could help (1) overactive bladder; or (2) diminished libido? Could I hear from someone who's tried such treatments?

I had the aus implanted nov 18. It made a huge difference but not 100%. More like 60% improvement. Tea is the devil for my bladder.

Thanks for the response. I'm glad to have my AUS, but I wish it could be more effective. I find that exercise, especially the kind that has me rolling around on the floor, is likely to make me leak. So I guess I'll be wearing pads for the foreseeable future.
