After having surgery to remove my prostate 15 years ago, my PSA has risen steadily to 0.55 I have my first appointment with a medical oncologist in two weeks. Anyone know if a PET scan would detect any cancer cells left?

Some of the newer PSMA-based ones might. They are only available in clinical trials. If you tell me where you are, I can tell you where you can get one of them. The following explains about them:
