I’m 54. My psa was 6 in Feb 2023, then 10.3 in Nov 2024. Urologist found hard area on prostate during DRE in Nov 2024. I had my psa tested 8 days later last week(Dec 2024) from the 10.3 total PSA test but this time with free psa. The total jumped to 13.4 from 10.3 in just 8 days with free psa at 6 percent. But could PC cancer jump my psa 3 points in 8 days? The free psa pretty much sealed the deal for me as I read with high total psa, that free psa under 10 percent is a sure sign of advanced PC.
Symptoms- over urination, blood in semen, constant pain in lower back
I have the biopsy in a week, but with all the symptoms, blood tests and Dr finding the hard spot, fully expecting advanced PC.
What are best PC treatment places in PA/NJ area? I’m being proactive.

My non - SOC PCa protocol began in 2014 when my PCP felt a lump during DRE exam and she instructed I see a Urologist post haste to said instructions I did nothing since I was preparing for upcoming Ironman 140.6, 5K's to full marathons, daily 150+ mile bicycle rides.
Finally some months later I went to urologist for biopsy and received a phone call - *You have aggressive PCa must have Bone Scan + CT -- POST HASTE.* Within days had scans and did researching before going back for all results with mental thoughts of METS + DEATH so be prepared. I knew ADT would be priority and decided on Surgical Castration instead since I DID NOT WANT the ADT DRUGS available back in 2015.
Met Urologist on a Monday morning and received info + his thoughts on treatment plan for my PCa beginning with immediate ADT + what TEAM suggests after response, to which I insisted on a Bilateral Orchiectomy NOW. Tuesday afternoon the BOYS were GONE, I left URO and went to see a recommended Interventional PCa Oncologist who treated the GL10 tumor in the right half of prostate that had been felt months earlier by my PCP with Cryoablation then followed by his experimental Non FDA Approved 3 drug immuno injection. NOW 9 years post treatment still no signs of METS or GL10 return.
