47 years old, fit and healthy... Started last month with BPH symptoms. My prostate is almost 50g (the limit is 30g for my age). That is too much or nah???
I've only taken 02 pills of dutasteride + tamsulosin hydrochloride, and already no sperm during orgasm. Pretty fast, right?
I'm very worried about the side effects of this medication and how long I need to take it. And the consequences...
Can anyone enlighten me, please?
Additionally, over the past three years, I've been taking hormones to improve muscle mass, but not in large amounts. Just 10ml of enanthate or sustanon every 6 months. I think it's pretty mild to say that could be the cause... But I’m not sure. Anyone?

I struggled with BPH and significant urinary symptoms for at least ten years. My prostate was 150 grams, triple the size of yours. There is a whole class of drugs called alpha blockers that are used to treat BPH. After being unhappy with the first two my Urologist prescribed, I tried Alfuzosin and it worked well for me. No issues, normal sex and I took it for many years. I hope you are working with an Urologist and s/he will try a different alpha blocker.
I've just started to take the pills. 03 by now. Zero sperm, very deezy when I get up fast. I will return to the doctor with more exams in a few weeks and let's see what he will say.
I have bph but was asymptomatic until August 23 when I went into full urine retention. I had been taking nicotinamide for 2 years prior to that, and some months after I found I kept needing to pee at night and not emptying my bladder properly.
A recent study has “apparently” shown a link between nicotinamide and an enlarged prostate.
