These plots compare results from the Phase-II randomized trial (PATCH) comparing estrogen patch therapy to Lupron ADT. These plots show that Lupron ADT causes bone loss, while estrogen patch therapy has either no bone loss or increased bone mineral density (BMD) over time.

I'm following this but have no idea where to get the patches. I doubt I'll be able to convince a local doc but I'm going to bring my MO the latest PATCH results. Hopefully he'll even read it!
You can get an estrogen gel from Estrogel.com. You'll won't need a prescription. All you have to do is talk to one of their doctors, and they will ship it to you.
Professor Wassersug prefers the gel versus the patch, which left a discoloration on his skin.
You can also go to a local compounding pharmacy and ask them for the name(s) of doctors who prescribe compounded testosterone. Then, contact that doctor and explain what you want. I'm sure he/she will agree to prescribing the estrogen gel (or cream).
