RP surgery 3/2020. Psa levels stable less than .01 for two years. 6/23 thru 12/23 levels have been .18 to .41. Complication 8/22 diagnosed with AML Leukemia. 5 rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant on 1/5/2023. Leukemia is now in complete remission, my blood dna is my donor’s - 40 year old female

Pmsa pet scan - regular pet scan and Ct scan are all negative for any cancer cells anywhere.

Current Dr recommendation is to monitor psa every six weeks. If levels continue to increase then commence hormone treatments. There is hesitancy due to recent leukemia and incurring side effects of hormone treatment. To date treatments for leukemia and diagnostic for biochemical reoccurrence have been done at Moffitt Cancer Center Tampa Florida

Thoughts on just monitoring psa and hormone treatments.

I wonder if you would get a response by posting on the leukemia forum?

No. That is for lymphoma. I had Cytarabine (cytosine arabinoside or ara-C) and Aanthracycline prior to bone marrow transplant.

Understand, thx. Because I’ve had NHL with R-CHOP and Lupron at the same time and it was ok.
