Shoud I be concerned with my PSA rising from .79 to 1.01 in about 10 months?

Diagnosed with prostate cancer in August'18 with PSA of 7.84, Greason score of 7 (4+3) before being treated with SBRT without ADT at UCLA in October'18. Reached nadir at .79 after 4.5 years after SBRT treatment.

My latest PSA number as of 01/12/24 is 1.01 as compared to 0.93 (10/16/23), 0.93 (07/20/23), 0.93, 0.79 (03/28/23), 0.84 (12/12/22).

You might ask for an mpMRI and a PSMA PET scan.

Agreeing with TA and IMO, I would get back engaged with your medical team and ask what they recommend as a plan going forward. Then I would get a second opinion from another respected third party. You have issues but manageable...

In 2020 you had a bounce up to 4.06 which was over 2.0 higher than your nadir at the time of 1.68. I see you then quickly got more tests. I bet that was a relief when it came back down. Maybe do that again and re-check your current PSA soon?
