I had absolutely no symptoms. My PSA jumped from 2.9 to 6.3 ng/ml and GP sent me to see a urologist. Urologist was more worried about a kidney cyst and minute traces of blood and protein in my urine. BTW I still have the cyst and the minute traces of blood and protein. I had HDRBracytherapy two years ago and have been in remission since (was 7(3+4)).

I had mild BPH symptoms. My PSA was 58. It was 2.8 16 months before. I was stage 4 at diagnosis - pelvic/hip bone mets.

Did you get pelvic or hip pain before diagnosis?

No pain.

Stage 4 , restricted flow, pain with BM.

No symptoms. Suspicious DRE result got me sent to a urologist for a biopsy. My PSA was only 2.7 at that time so it wouldn't have gotten me flagged. Don't avoid those DRE's. Make those a part of your annual physical if you are a man 40's and older.

I've had prostate cancer ten years and not had any symptoms that I know of. I have had two surgeries to correct problems caused by my treatments (RP then SRT) though. One for an incisional hernia the other for a urethral stricture. But make no mistake about it that I don't have a complaint in the world , I'm grateful the two procedures have gotten me this far.
