Two weeks post-Retzius

Things continue to progress remarkably well. My surgery was two week ago today.

Catheter came out after a week and I have had essentially zero issues with incontinence. This week, Mr. Softy even seems to be waking up.

Those of you who have links to my Journey blog can see the 15 page write-up on my surgery and recovery. Fortunately, is turning out to be a brief work compared to the one I wrote earlier about reaching a decision. I will send you the link if you PM me.

Bottom line, based on my experience with Retzius. It is clearly the future of robotic prostatectomy. Just make sure you are in the hands of an experienced surgeon.

I will message you for write-up on surgery and recovery after Retzius. Thank you PCinPA for sharing your journey and recovery.

I am curious to know if Retzius goes through the perineum.

Well, that's something I haven't heard about. I'll have to research 'Retzius'.

Hi PCInPa..I have been reading your posts and I am very interested in finding out how your journey is going..I too am favouring Retzius over standard RS.

I spoke with PCinPA recently after reading his blog. He stated that he remains satisfied with Retzius decision which I am also considering. Incontinence is a non-issue, psa remains undetectable, ED is improving but still not fully resolved.

He did say he has been banned from healthunlocked for sharing his blog link so is no longer active here.
