Confirm in a month and talk to a radiation oncologist about salvage radiation.
Use another lab reporting to (at least) the 2nd digital point. You probably don't have previous PSA data at such a resolution. If you had, you could very well judged if the current numbers are accurate or erroneous. Better late than never though.
Those are small movements in PSA. They might be do infections or irritations in the prostate bed.
Disagree. Stay with the same lab, take a deep breath, tell yourself you are OK and repeat in a month. Takes more than one snowflake to make a blizzard.
I have (unfortunately) first hand knowledge that some labs are very inaccurate when testing PSA. I was having erratic results like yours from my Uro's in house lab. When I switched to my Onco the first thing we did was go to Quest and also a major medical center for tests and they were very close to each other and very different from my Uro's lab. I did still have a recurrence but utilizing a major lab got me to SRT a lot quicker than if I had stayed where I was. For that I am very grateful. I know my situation is/will not be comparable to everyone in this situation...but it did happen to me.
