CEA test indication

StayingOptimistic profile image

I have never had this test done until yesterday. It cam back around 9. My psa is now 1.63 with DT around 8 months( down from 12 months 3 months ago). I have pelvic and abdomen LN Mets showed on an 18 F PSMA Scan a month ago. I have not started any therapy yet but meeting with my MO to do biopsy on the LN and decide on therapy. My questions are:

1) how urgent is this situation?

2) is this CEA result have bad prognosis?

Thanks for the help

I don't understand why you haven't started hormone therapy yet.

MO needs to biopsy the LN and then decide on therapy. I am starting to get very anxious that therapy hasn’t started yet.
