Another PSA blood test another undetectable. I cannot think of a better present than that. I know that is not the case with so many of my fellow PC patients. I feel extremely fortunate to have 9 years of undetectable PSA. I was 52, PSA 5, Gleason Score (3+4)7, Stage T2c. I had it removed (Davinci system) in June of 2011 with no followup radiation. Pathology report post surgery put the stage at T3a. There is no one size fits all when it comes to treating PC. We may have all the same parts, but how our bodies work with or against surgery, radiation, chemotherapy, hormone treatments, etc, is different for everybody. A PSA blood test twice a year is a small price to pay to make sure that PC does not come roaring back.

You are fortunately not in the 2.8% of us, members of this APC community, with an incurable PCa at 1st diagnosis. Your cancer is curable.
