Hello,

I am 27 +3, this is my 3rd pregnancy. I noticed a few weeks ago I was slightly swollen down below & now over the past week the swelling has gone round to my bum also. My midwife hasnt got back to me, but I am worried I have a prolaspe after looking on Google. I do have slight swelling inside my vagina also which is the part I am worrying about. Has anyone else experinced this?

I think call the GP as they'll be able to prescribe you either tablets or cream for it.I had some swelling down below but it lasted only a few days and didn't spread. I'd wash as often as you can, maybe even use a wet wipe after toilet visits to make sure it's all staying clean.

Hope you get help x

I had swelling that turned out to be a UTI, no other real symptoms other than that, go and get a test from your doctor/midwife.

I had to reply to this, baby number 6, 8 weeks pregnant aged 40 , never had this before until this time ! There is something to do with blood flow that can cause varicose vein type stuff down there but mine was just increased blood flow and pressure, as below check for a UTI and I found cold compresses really helpful, I know its awful. Good luck x

Baby 6?! Goodness me, how are you doing it 😂 This is baby number 3 & I am 27 & am literally wiped out. I was not like these with my other 2 at all! I can't even blame it on running around after toddlers as my 2 boys are aged 10 & 5.

I actually managed to get someone to look at it, they confirmed it 100% isn't q prolapse & most likely the increased blood flow. Was told to if I'm sat for a period of time to sit with my legs raise if I can. Thank you for the reply x
