Hi, I'm new to this so hope I'm posting this right!
My little boy will be 16 weeks old tomorrow. For the past few weeks he's been really chewing his hands and dribbling - we thought maybe it was the start of a long teething process, or maybe just normal baby development.
Today when I was changing him, I noticed a little white dot on his gum. On closer inspection, he has got 2 hard white lumps where his upper lateral incisors would be (one on each side of course). There doesn't seem to be any sign of front teeth, but these little buds are rock solid and do feel like teeth. The NHS website tells me these teeth should come through after both top and bottom front teeth, and not until around 9-11 months. Can anyone shed some light on what may be happening? It seems incredibly unlikely that this is him cutting his lateral incisors, but everything is pointing that way?
Health visitor is out this week for his 16 week weigh in so I will ask her too, but wanted to check if anyone else had any similar experiences! Thanks
