Anyone had more frequent bowel movements in early pregnancy?

Hi we had a miscarriage in June and amazingly we have just found out we are pregnant again naturally, after 6 years and 4 goes at IVF. So praying this is our time 🤞🙏🌈

I know constipation is common in early pregnancy but I feel like I’m going more often than normal. I’m not loose or anything just more regular? Anyone else had this? X

Huge congratulations, have a happy healthy pregnancy. Im exactly the same i go way more now im pregnant, i put it down to not having a gallbladder this pregnancy, gp said it could be or just be the way im reacting to hormones. Obviously if their constantly loose then seek advice but if your going more frequently its not a problem x

Congrats on the pregnancy and sorry for your previous loss.

I’m the same! Everyone went on about constipation but it’s been the complete opposite for me all the way through and im in the second trimester now. Perhaps the constipation comes later on 🤔🧐😂

Thanks ladies and congratulations to you both! That’s good to hear, glad I’m not the only one. I spoke to my old ivf clinic earlier about progesterone and I asked about going to the toilet more and they said the same as you both that’s it’s a normal sign of early pregnancy. Think I’m just worrying about anything and everything and praying it’s going to be ok this time xx
