Is it early labour?

Hi just wondering if any1 has experinced same thing. I am 40+6 pregnant and i lost my plug yesterday morning. I had my first sweep yestersay n lost more. Last night i had constant back ache and quiet painful lower tummy cramping. This more i have the pains still wen sat down but eased when moving then again when relaxed on sofa. Is this possible early labour? Any1 experinced anything like it. As pain is on n off

I recon this might be start off for you. Just call your hospital/midwife and tell them your symptoms they should be able to give you more guidance, certainly if the pain is increasing or more uncomfortable call them. I’ve started at 40+5 after membrane sweep and the pain started like properly 8hrs after this, so watch this but I’ve not noticed loosing my plug!

I had this with my first child 3 years ago. The pains were very mild every hour then every 50 minutes then every 45 minutes until I wet to bed at 11 and woke at 2am with pains stronger and then they were every 15 minutes. My waters then broke and I went to the hospital. Im sure your in early labour. Don't let the hospital put you off going ring tell them your coming down and you will be ok they often do not want you to go until very last minute but then its uncomfortable to walk to the ward for you. xx
