I've suffered from pelvic pain since 26 weeks and I'm still waiting for my referral to the antenatal physios, I've even called my G.P about it today and they have said that im on their radar and that's about it .. the pain is really getting me down, I'm not sleeping at night as it's at its worst when lying down or resting which really sucks. I've got a tens machine, yoga ball and take regular paracetamol but it's just constantly there. My only saving grace is that I've heard it disappears after birth so I know I don't have to suffer much longer. Anyone had any experience with it or any tips? I'm close to tears every night with the pain.

Really bad SPD/Pelvic girdle pain at 36 weeks getting me down
Sorry to hear your in so much pain. I’m 25 weeks and have been experiencing pelvic pain since week 23. I have a physio appointment on Wednesday and I am hoping they can give me advice to stop the pain from progressing and to allow me to keep walking. I had hip and back pain before pregnancy so kinda expected this. If I get any good tips I will pass them on. Hang on in there. Not long now for you xx
I can fully sympathize as i had just the same and it is miserable. I havent really got any advice... my midwife use to tell me to take sure i had both feet on the floor before getting out of bed or car and get up slowly. One thing i did find that really helped was sleeping on my side with a pillow between my legs really helped ease the pain...it is not a nice thing to have atall but i promise it does go as soon after baby is born.... All the best x
