Could I be pregnant. Sex last day of period.

Hi everyone,

I had unprotected sex the day my period finished. Two days after my period finished I had very very light bright pink spotting that literally didn't last very long at all. Last month I took an ovulation test and it was positive 5 days after my period had finished. My cycles are quite irregular if I am honest, but not majorly irregular as in I don't bleed on and off throughout the month i have one period lasting around 4-5 days maximum.

Any advice would be useful.

The spotting two days after your period could have been to do with ovulation but defs wouldn’t have been an implantation bleed as it would be too soon for that.

Sperm can live for five/six days in the body so if you normally ovulate so soon after your period finishes, you could be pregnant. But I would also say you’d be pretty lucky/unlucky, depending on your viewpoint on getting pregnant.

I don’t know where you are in your cycle now but you will be able to reliably test for pregnancy the day of a missed period. You can get extra sensitive ones to test beforehand too.

Hi so you had sex 5 days before a positive opk? Then yes it’s possible take a test if your near period due or after.
