Would like to know about breast changes. I'm 6 weeks pregnant and I've had sore swollen breasts (like pmt) already a cup size bigger! How long do they normally feel heavy? How much bigger can I expect to be? And how are they different after having a baby? Please share your experiences.
Boobs: Would like to know about breast... - Pregnancy and Par...
Boobs
My nipples were super sensitive in the first trimester better in the second, but then my nipples got darker. By the end of pregnancy they got pretty huge (although I also had gain 3stones!!! In weight) and more engored few days after delivery. I stopped breastfeeding after 14 months and noticed a big change as everything got a bit softer and squishy.
Now pregnant again (8weeks£ not as sensitive but starting to fill out again a bit but nowhere close to a cup yet. ...that's my Boob journey so far 😅
My boobs got sore and hard as rock on my ovulation day / conception till about 2 months I think. They got cup size (and a half) bigger like yours in first few weeks but since then have not changed in size. In first few months I did not like shower as my nipples were aching when water stream hit them. On week 12 I started to notice colostrum on my nipples - still there. Nipple itself has got a bit darker and a bit bigger.
In one of my pregnancy books there are photos of this woman every few weeks of pregnancy / she was white with blond hair and her nipples light brown but by the end they got huge and nearly black 😱 I hope it won't happen to me! Then again - it's hormone related and after birth & breastfeeding it should go back to about the size and colour as it was before (fingers crossed!)
I think it varies from woman to woman but mine have never recovered since my pregnancies I did breastfeed all my kids though. First was the most sore nipple wise I would say. I went to an E cup with my first, 2nd F, third FF and now I am G, before any pregnancies I was a double D but that was before any kids at all. They never went back to a double D either, lowest they have been since any pregnancies is an F. I would happily have a reduction if I had the money!
Wow- that sounds a big change and big breasts (sorry for my expression - I just not used to hear those Letters) ! I come from a family who is genetically predisposed to inherit small breasts. When I was 15 mine grew to size B and it was a shock to my family as I had the biggest breasts (have 3 older sisters and mum) Mum breastfed all her 5 kids and now is happy with her B sizes (she thinks it's a reward 😊) and same happened to my sisters who went from small A to B now after breastfeeding their 2-3 kids. Before kids my sisters and mum were around 8-8,5 stone. Also after babies they all kept the baby weight and are around 9,5 stone now - so we laught that it's the "ass tax" you need to pay to keep the boobs (if we loose weight the boobs are first to leave and belly the last). Now when I went to visit my family my sister who never had babies nearly fainted as she could not believe how big my breasts have become - well: compared to hers as she's in her thirties and buys bras in girls department - size 32A. My niece who is 20 now has the smallest breasts I have ever seen and I feel a bit sorry for her as she does not have any breasts- just a small nipple which is not rised. Then again she probably inherited the 'small breasts' from my ancestors and her inability to gain weight also contributes to this I suppose (she's tiny, hardly 7,5st) Must say: my partner and I were happy with my cup size B and we hope it will go back to it, but somehow I doubt.
It def is a family thing. My mum has large bust but mine are even bigger. I think either way can effect your confidence. They cause all sorts of problems when there is too much! Backache being the main thing. But a lot of ladies want what they haven't got don't they. I understand women who have issues because of small ones, one of my friends was and still is so self conscious and has always said about hers and getting an enhancement one day. I would quite happily make mine smaller haha x
I had sore breasts for about 2 weeks from week 6 to week 8, they grew a cup size couldn't even drive over speed bumps without saying ouch but after about the 8 week mark they stopped hurting and haven't hurt or grown since 🙈
Mine are agony!!! They are getting a little better this week but from week 6-10 they literally were agony. Even turning over in bed HURT, touching them hurt and even the shower hurt! I'm a DD and I think they have grown and my nipples are standing to attention a bit more (!). I'm only on week 11, I'm hoping I don't end up with much bigger breasts as they are big enough already. I'm tall (5'11) and slim but have always had ample boobs - not sure I want them bigger...
Oh yes! Mine were really sore from the beginning (like before I even knew I was pregnant), and at maybe 4/5 weeks I went up a cup size overnight (as in I got up in the morning and got undressed to go in the shower and actually jumped when I saw myself in the mirror!). I'm quite slim so this made quite a difference. Now 13 weeks, not as sore and no more increase thank goodness - I hadn't expected new bras to be the biggest expense of pregnancy!
