Super painful boobs!

I’m just over 14 weeks and my breasts have been incredibly painful all the way through the pregnancy so far. I’ve gone up by 3 sizes already so I have bought new bras and sports bras which is helping a little but I just don’t know what to do during the night as they are so sore! Currently wearing a soft light-medium support sports bra to sleep in but it’s not working as I wake up with pain during the night and in the morning. I can’t bear to wear a normal full bra every night as I think it will uncomfortable. Suggestions and help very welcome.

Hi, I can relate to this so much, my breasts were so sore to start, it did ease eventually (although still occasional soreness/stabbing pains at 27 weeks) so it did ease for me, I hope it does for you too.

At night I’ve found sleep bras to be so helpful, Bravissimo sell a few options, and the non wired one is so comfortable that I use it at night and if I’m just lounging around the house. Hope it helps you too!

Thank you, that's really helpful. I didn't want to buy any of those sleep bras unless someone had recommended them. I've ordered one of the Bravissimo ones this morning so hopefully that will do the trick. :-) x

Thank you! Hoping it will subside soon. I woke up about 4 times last night in pain with it :-( x

Mine were really sore first 3 months. It's definitely worth investing in nursing bras to sleep in, I booked myself into M&S for a fitting and they recommended me a super comfy one and it helped with the pain. I also was told that you could get lettuce put it in the fridge and put that on your boobs to help soothe them. There's a specific lettuce that's supposed to be best but just get any with big leaves. Also you could try gently massaging them with some oil or cream x hope it gets better for you soon!

Thank you for the advice. The sleep bra I ordered has just arrived so hopefully that will help. Never heard of the lettuce thing but could be fun to try and anything is worth a try if it helps. xx
