The last week I have started retching every time I brush my teeth on a morning resulting in me being sick. I'm not sure if this is just how morning sickness works or not. I don't actually feel sick it is just that I gag as soon as I put my toothbrush in my mouth. Any advice?
Thanks

Pregnancy can cause you to gag at the weirdest if things! Raw meat smell in morrisons at the butcher section I physically have run away from it!! It's normal... maybe change toothpaste see how that goes if that does work maybe do a quick brush but use plenty mouth wash? I know its not ideal but at least it stops the gagging, try a ginger biscuit 20 mind before you brush your teeth ginger settles morning sickness
Hi I'm the same I'm 10 weeks now. I spoke to my dentist and they said that I can use kids tooth paste and mouthwash. They don't taste as strong so my sickness doesnt hit me as bad. Hope this helps
I'm 11+3, I don't feel sick but I have a much stronger gag reflex, I've thrown up brushing my teeth too. Also, smells, gross sights make me gag now, didn't pre preg. I was the same with my last pregnancy too. Xx
hi im 11 weeks and i dont stop throwing up everywhere i go and especially after brushing my teeth but i still brush em any way its just to bad its starting to get a bit better though good luck i hope u feel well!!!!!
I am the same, I'm now 17wks+3 and since I have been pregnant my gag reflex is terrible! I gag when I brush my teeth, and I am squeamish now. I dont know where that has come from because I wasnt before I was pregnant, I could eat my tea while watching Saw, can't even think of watching something like that anymore! lol It does get easier though xx
