Go to ur g.p and get a soft gel pessary I find it better than the tablet pessary. ..I used one on the day I was induced and ales the midwife if it was ok so don't worry about impending labour and make sure they prescibe the 2% canestan cream x

You can get canesten pessary over the counter if you want to get sorted sooner than seeing your GP. I also took at 39 weeks. Hope you feel better soon.

I have recurrent thrush and am on three pessaries a week! So don't worry about using them, the midwife told me not to insert too high and it is better that you don't have thrush.
