39 weeks plus 4 days. It’s my first pregnancy now cannot see any sign of labour no pain nothing just sometimes period pain but not regular did anyone experience same with their first pregnancy. I might just over thinking I know eveyone says as far baby is fine and yourself should be okay. But don’t know why feel scared being over due.

Anything can help with labour would be great advice. I have been doing experience, spicy food having pineapple still no sign

Hi Hun , first baby can be scary as you don’t know what to expect and when it’s going to happen ! My first daughter was 12 days over and I had to be induced in the end as she was too comfortable it was a long day and I seen mums coming and going it felt like I was the last one . Then 2 years after I had another baby and I thought when’s this one going to come as because I’ve already been there and done that I thought that pregnancy was going to be the same but nope out of the blue she decided to come at 39 + 5 days and a quick labour and 3 years ago had my 3 year old and she was 14 days late so had to be induced but it wasn’t that bad they broke my waters and 5 hours later she was born! What I’m trying to say they are all different no matter if it’s your first or 4th baby they do what they like lol. As long as your ok and baby is still moving then it’s about patience !

Are you having braxton hicks ? Try drinking Raspberry leaf tea upto 3 cups a day if possible and massage your boobs.

I hope it’s not too long for you and all the best xx

Yh that is true as far we both okay. I think I need to be patient and try to relax going to hard on myself at the min which is not helping. Yh I having been having Braxton Hicks quite often

The braxton hicks are a good sign it’s not long Hunni ! I know it’s easier said than done to be patient, if I was you I’d go out for a meal and a spa day if possible and enjoy these last few days as all will change with a blink of an eye and it will all be about the pads lol 😂 rest assure baby will be here soon xx

I went 12 days overdue and it was my first pregnancy. I was induced at 11 days. I tried a lot of stuff like walking, bouncing on my gym ball etc but she was just too comfy.

Has the midwife offered you a sweep yet?

Hang in there your baby will be here soon x

I was exactly the same with my baby boy I’m a FTM to and I didn’t get and signs at all, really didn’t think he wanted to make an appearance and at 40+6 my waters broke at 9:30am and he was here but 4:37pm the same day, try not to worry yourself your baby will come when there ready Ino it’s hard but it’s worth the wait :) xx

They come when they want to come. My first and second no symptoms until the day 40+6... my first mild pain at 3am baby came 23:45, second mild pain and funny poo at 3am 7:40am had a baby. No signs prior to the day.

I was a week over due with my first but he came when I thought he would and not the due date the hospital gave. Pretty normal. As long as you are well and have baby movements baby will come when ready. I did reflexology, raspberry leaf tea and the ball but none started my labour. A sweep didn’t either. Sex did. Reverse cowgirl to be precise. I knew straight away ot had worked. 7am my labour started
