Should I be worried at almost 35 weeks??

This morning I found myself a bit wet (just fluid water) down below and I know I didn't wee myself or anything and haven't had anything else since but having more stronger cramping and uncomfortable and a lot of bowel movements. What could this mean?

U could of had a leak so things could be starting. ...u need to wear a pad and see if it gets wet but if u read the post on here about the woman who was told her waters hadn't gone when they had then don't let them fob u off. .. sometimes u can just have a gush of wee if baby presses on ur bladder u had a gush then nothing but period pains started then contractions. Cos ur 35 weeks id give triage a call to err on the side of caution no harm in getting checked over x

I've just read it but it sounds like she was around the full

Term point but because I'm almost 35 weeks just thought was a bit weird. Will definitely see how it goes. I haven't had any more leaks just the cramps and bowel movements. Thanks x

Loose bowel movements can be another sign but u can have these for weeks before labour. .. it's the contractions and leak u should keep an eye on if u have more than 4 or 5 in an hour I think ur supposed to get checked especially if ur less than 37 weeks. ..u can give triage a call and explain ur symptoms if the midwife is concerned she'll tell u to go in to be checked or just give u advice over the phone x

Wow! I was about to write a very similar question may still do...so look out if anyone else responds to me too. I am also 35 weeks and have had "period pains" in stomach and back on and off since Friday. Not sure whether to contact MW about it or not, first pregnancy and don't like to make a deal of things if you know what I mean. I have had quite a lot of watery discharge throughout my pregnancy, which if I didn't know I had relatively good bladder control I may have thought I'd wee'd a bit. MW explained its the bodies way of keeping it all clean! More concerned about the cramping given that its before the 37 week mark. Please let me know what you decide to do and what the outcome is.

I keep debating whether to call them but from friends experiences they make out u have wet yourself and fob u off and makes u feel u don't know your own body. I think if I'm still worried by end of 2day will definitely call them. But I don't drive and it's not close and definitely want to come home as I really hate hospitals. X

If you think it may have been your waters or are still getting symptoms then get checked or at least call and talk it through with the experts. Worst case they're dismissive but I've never found any of the maternity staff like this. If it was your waters they may need to monitor you even if cramping stops. You'll be less worried if you speak to a midwife, better for you and baby. Hope all is ok.
