Guess depends on problem which you haven't disclosed ? At a loss to discuss and others will feel the same

Pregnancy related ans seems minor = MW

Pregnancy related and major = obstetrician

Non-pregnancy related/not sure = GP

Have you tried lube? All those pregnancy hormones can leave you fairly dry down below. A GP or MW could do some swabs to R/O infection, but your MW can't prescribe, so for that reason, your GP might be your best bet x

Sounds like possible thrush. I would go to the doctor personally.

no no, thrush is really normal in pregnancy. not very nice for you though if you don't get it under control! x

Sounds very much like thrush. Its perfectly common in pregnancy simply due to hormones. Go see your GP and you should be prescribed something to get rid of it thats safe to use during pregnancy. Avoid buying over the counter stuff as not all are safe during pregnancy.

Also, if you have sex with your hubby while suffering symptoms it might be an idea to drag him along with you so he can be checked for sign of thrush too, the last thing you want is to get clear of it, get jiggy with your hubby only to pick it back up of him. Hope this helps :)

I used to ring doctors and ask for someone to phone me back, describe symptoms but it does sound like thrush you have, then they would write a prescription to pick up but I suppose it will depend how your doctors works. Think thrush has to be one of the most irritating part of pregnancy if you're unfortunate to get it! My doctor prescribed canestan and advised my OH also used the cream.

It upsets me that there are doctors out there who would write a prescription without examining a patient - leaves you on very thin ice if you're wrong!
