I went into constant AF a couple months ago, since some serious family stress. I am constantly around 90 to 110 BPM.
I have been quite fit before this session. Managed to stay out of AF for about 1 year. I believe through regular exercise. I have had some serious cramp recently. May have caused Calf Muscle Damage.
Anybody else had this experience. I have had both my Pfizer Vaccines.

Hi Hugo40, I've only ever had paroxysmal Afib, but I can suffer that and bouts of cramp simultaneously on occasions. It's never been suggested to me that this is any more than a coincidence, and of course it is perfectly possible that the cramps are also being caused by your recent lack of exercise making you lose muscle tone. Clearly with continuous Afib that can't change radically but it would probably be worth getting some professional medical advice from a GP as to what you can safely do in terms of recouping some of your previous fitness, in the hope that it will help with your cramp. And there is medication available for severe cramps so long as it is compatible with your Afib condition. Hope this helps a little bit, and that you are feeling better soon with the help of some medical advice and/or intervention.
What a really useful tip Maureen, I shall try that myself, having become a bit of a martyr to leg cramps! 🙄
Hi Scrumbler, Thanks for replying seems like a good idea to use EASE MAGNESIUM SPRAY. Where is the best place to buy it.Holland & Barrett does not seem to stock it in our local town.
