Sister came over with my click & collect, she said the collect bit was really easy, and when she went she was the only customer there.
Walked to cafe at end of road as they are doing a takeaway service, when sister went home sorted out shopping and pottered about.
We've had a letter from mum's care home stating that mum's OK, but that 2 residents have been diagnosed with Coronavirus, doesn't really surprise us though given how it's gone into care/nursing homes

Busy day for me today as I have spent most of the day on future learn doing a course about royal fashion which I am enjoying some far, cooked steak and mushrooms for dinner, sorted out some meals for next week out of what's in the cupboards and went out for my usual daily walk at lunchtime today.
Hi Jennymary, I do hope your mum will be ok. It's been raining and a bit dull all day so the dog's got a late walk. Bobby the Jack Russell, he doesn't like rain so I have to wait for the rain to stop. Spoke to my mum on the phone. She needs some bits which I will go and get tomorrow. I'm currently watching a series on Netflix so I will watch a bit of that later. xx
Today, I checked my email messages, went on HU and did some replies in the morning and afternoon, did video chat with a friend, listened to my brother and his family play music online, and had lunch so far. I will do some reading before dinner and bedtime tonight.😀👍
Glad you enjoyed your day and that you got to go out for a walk.
I hope your mom is okay.
Sounds like you have a lovely sister and do glad you've got your click and collect order.
Hope you enjoyed your takeaway, it's keeping the cafe going which is good.
I'm glad your mum's ok and I hope she stays that way, thinking of you.
I went out for a jog this morning, saw my youngest daughter when I got home strange with your own family standing on the doorstep, it doesn't feel right. I then spent the afternoon in the kitchen baking.
I hope you are as relaxed as you can be.
Stay safe and well.
Alicia😊
Are they managing to isolate Jenny ??
It seems that many people in Care Homes are suffering, in a way they should send the sufferers to hospital so they can keep the nursing home clear from the virus
Hi Bob, mum hasn't got the virus but my understanding is the 2 residents affected have a team of 4 nurses looking after them. Mum's on the wing where they have residents with complex needs, due to her dementia she's lost the power of speech, not eating, in bed 24/7 and doesn't recognise her own family, she also has diabetes, angina, pacemaker to name but a few and she's aged 88
Hello Jenny
It is hard, I have had several family members with same sort of problem. Are they keeping you informed how she is ?
Hi Bob, we only know about this due to my sister getting a letter from the home, which also says that the phones have been incredibly busy, so although we've both thought about ringing we haven't, as we know the home will ring us if there's a problem
I feel so sad when something prevents you from just holding a hand to give comfort. I understand they need to isolate although sometimes the sound of a voice may make some difference

Lady living in flat below us told me this morning her husband had had a stroke and was in hospice. I just need a hug she said but what can you do! There are only 7 flats in the block and we are all there for each other so it’s so hard not to be able to reach out.
Sorry to read that, yes, I know what you mean when you just want to offer a comforting hug but you're unable to, sending best wishes to you, and your neighbours xxxx
Hi Jenny,
I woke up at 6am and did my obsessive compulsive compulsions until around 6pm and then relaxed in the evening watching Sky Crime on my new BT TV box and made a lovely stir fry from M&S for dinner.
I have been up till 12:30 and got nothing nearly every night this week. But got many food boxes coming from places like Morrison and local company's .have a good one and stay safe
That’s what I’ve heard, I live in California many nursing homes I’ve heard have the virus here. I would think that would be a Safe place? That they would take More precautions because how vulnerable their Health is?
Hi Jennymary, It must be a bit concerning to hear that some residents in your mum's Home have coronavirus, but at least now the word is out there that Homes need extra support too, so that should help to protect your mum a little better, hopefully.
I'm glad you caught up with your sister again and got your delivery and that you had a good takeaway.
I've been pottering about as usual. No walk as planned as the weather was a bit inclement so we saved it for this morning instead.
I hope you have another good day today. Take care and I'm thinking of your mum and hoping she stays safe too. 🦋
At the moment our youngest daughter is doing a shop for us once a week, going to the supermarket or locally. Have tried but not managed to get an on line delivery slot, even tho we both have medical problems and DH is 81 and I am 77 .But we are managing OK up to now. She has also dug a stack of old kiddy jigsaws out of the loft and we have been working out way through them, in between reading, tv, and crosswords. We have managed to get a few jobs done outside, but neither of us are too well or very mobile so it is slowly and one job at a time. The only good thing at the moment is the weather, wonder how long this will last? Take care and stay safe. xx
Made some dinner that includes sage and onion stuffing and watching Poirot on ITV3. Will probably watch the reruns of Marcella with Anna Friel later on Netflix. My daughter was kind enough to add me to her account.
And the best part of the day - I got a slot on Sainsburys this morning for our weekly shop, its coming on wednesday.
