I did very little this morning apart from changing the bed clothes. I had a bowl of soup for lunch then drove to surgery to get my Covid vaccination. It was pouring down andHad to wait over half an hour even though I was on time. Nurse mentioned some people had some side effects....sore arm, diarrhoea, sickness and a feeling of being under the weather over 48 hours. I came home and took some paracetamol as advised by members on the forum which apparently helps ease the sore arm. I had a shower on my return and am now sat in my dressing gown with a nice cup of coffee. One down and another jab to go!Cheers xx

Nice to hear you have had your jab.

It will be great when it's my turn!

Yes I'm glad its over with. Are you likely to get yours in late Spring?

in reply to RoadRunner44

I'm in the 16 to 49 group so probably not for a while yet.

Sounds very encouraging

Early walk, applied for 5 jobs, got on with learning Scottish gaelic, listened to music and started reading a new book called the seafront tea rooms by Vanessa Greene which is based up in Scarborough.

Tonight it's burns night so we are having haggis, neeps and tatties for our dinner.

I've been with my granddaughters today as I was looking after one of them when the youngest had her hospital appointment.

Stay safe and well.

Well done for getting through your day Jennymary. Sometimes it's more difficult to find the enthusiasm. I seemed busy yesterday but when I try to think exactly what I achieved.... not much!My day's highlight was taking possession (at 1030pm), of a new craft machine I had ordered on ebay. The poor old Yodel courier was exhausted from all the extra parcels she'd had to deliver and apologised profusely for calling so late but of course I didn't mind as I'd been eagerly awaiting its delivery!

The day wasn't too bad, decorated the bed room then baked off a few loaves of sourdough and made some blueberry brioche 😀😀
