Had my usual early walk this morning, this afternoon sat down and read what I did on my holidays by Chrissie Manby which is a nice light read and watched casino royals with Daniel Craig in it as well.

Hi Jenny

Hope you enjoyed your coffee morning and reading group. I hope the weather is better for you tomorrow to go to the shops.

I went out on a power walk, made soup when I got home, had lunch and have been on the computer for a little while now.

Have a lovely evening.

Must admit to getting up late as for thr first time in about 10 years had a reasonable nights sleep. Went up to the village to get my prescription but it hadn't been sent up to the pharmacy, grhh. I then went to the library as it is open for click and collect to try and get a book for my friend who is shielding but had to order it. Did some little jobs and then an hours natter with my friend and a bit of computer work. Had an easy tea as not too good this afternoon and answered a fee posts on the fibro site. I am now going to start my nightly read. Hoping that it won't be raining tomorrow, sick of the rain.x

You're lucky having libraries open, ours are closed even for click and collect, and that's why my reading group is in zoom, hope it doesn't rain tomorrow for you

Yes we have even lucky. Ours is only a small library, it was one of the reasons why I wanted to move here as it is literally 5 minutes walk away.

I am also doing a zoom reading group. Ours is a bit different as we actually read a book or a short story together with a poem or poems that have a link to th lockdown theme of a story. I hadn't even lockdown before lockdown but taught myself enough so I can be the hostess when the leader is unavailable. I was quite pleased with myself lol. Some people haven't joined in but I have enjoyed it makes me feel more connected with the outside world.

Is that a, Shared Reading group, organised by The Reader, as it sounds like the group I go to

Yes glad you reminded me of the name fibro fog had descended and couldn't think of it. I also got to a monthly crime book club but the leader has had to work extra hours during COVID and several of thr group dont really do technology so we havent met since the first lockdown last year. Our main library where we meet for that one was open in between lockdowns but they weren't letting any groups meet. I am wondering when it is all over whether that group will have just fizzled out. I not quite so keen in going back to that one as unfortunately the lady I was friendly with died during the first lockdown.x

I felt awful all day, with nausea and fatigue. I did, however, manage a Zoom choir rehearsal in the evening.
