My day started amazingly well, at about 3.30am I bagged an online shop slot, filled the basket, was using a gift card for this retailer to pay, got to the checkout...... It wouldn't accept a gift card!!! I've emailed the store concerned to see if it can be used online, back of card says use in store, so started well, rapidly went downhill, weather has been damp and miserable here today so haven't been out, did manage to arrange an appt with practice nurse for a couple of weeks time 😊🌈☹️SSAW

Today I have been for my walk first thing, watched war of the world's on DVD, listened to music, got on with Spanish learning and it's our Friday video call at 5.30 with our friends which we always look forward to.

Bummer! We’re you able to get your groceries using another means? At least you got your appt. I sympathize the weather here has been gray and miserable for days. I did see there is still a sun for about 2 minutes. Hopefully things will improve soon.
I've got a, couple of smaller supermarkets within walking distance and I'll have to wait until my sister can take me to a bigger branch of that particular supermarket

Today, I had breakfast and lunch, wrote back to email messages, checked messages on HU, created postings, replied to comments, texted with friends and family, and made hot tea after lunch. I plan to do some reading before 2 pm and then do some knitting. I also plan to get ready for dinner tonight around 5 pm for 5:30 pm.

That was a very early start Jenny. I'm so sorry they wouldn't accept the gift card, under the current circumstances you would think they would.
I went shopping this morning, only about 10 customers in the store, it was lovely. Got back and then went on a walk around the coast.

That's a pity your gift card wasn't accepted. I hope I won't get into such situation. Today actually I was reading an arcticle about Bloomingdales gift card giftcards-market.com/downlo... here.
