If you are going to rewrite the rules of Valentine’s Day, what would it be?😻😻😻

I’d make it do something kind day for your significant other
I love this photo 💕 it’s so magical
I never celebrate it as think it's just like Mother and Father's Day, very commercialised. You could change it to a day like 'help those less fortunate day'.
Alicia xxx💜💜💜
Totally agreed Alicia👍 Let’s make “Help those less fortunate day” ❤️❤️❤️🙏xxx
Yes, it would be very good KoKo xxx💜💜💜😊🌈🌈🥰
👌 xxx💜💜💜😊🌈🌈🥰🥰🥰
xxx🤗🤗🥰🥰🥰💜💜💜💜💜👍👍
Tiny figurines filing cat nails 😂😂 and that poor fish is going to be eaten or used as a polisher😂
😂😂😂😂 for the love of cat 😻😻😻
How about a day for us who are young free and single
👍👍👍Awesome Self-Love Day ❤️❤️❤️
Day for everyone to celebrate love and friendship.
How's Sonya the cat? Baby is well and has been enjoying her treats.
Agreed 👍❤️ Thanx for asking. Sonya has been so spoiled rotten with Xmas toys and tuna cans. I’m so glad to hear Baby is healthy and happy with her treats😻😻
My rule would be 'don't do it'.Instead of being coerced by commerce to spend too much money on a bunch of flowers or restaurant meals, I think we should be encouraged to think more of our loved ones every day and show it to them in a personal way.
Very true and wise Callendersgal ❤️ Everyday should be Valentine’s Day for our loved ones 🥰
I agree. I am thankful to have a husband who likes to help around the house and to me that is alot better than expensive flowers that die a week later or a box of chocolate (a minute on the lips-forever on the hips). Be kind to each other all year round.
Definitely Gisygirl! My husband's so helpful to me and I make sure I let him know that as many times as I can. And then he feels appreciated every day! 😊
I would scrap it. It is far too commercial. We never eat out on the day, overcrowded restaurants, expensive gimmicky menus. Bah humbug! You don't need a special day to appreciate your loved one. And, people who are alone really don't need to be reminded of it.
Great point 👍 and we can appreciate our loved one at any moment ❤️
I worked as a museum cataloguer for a while, and one item I had to catalogue was a collection of greetings cards. The Victorian St. Valentine's Day cards (to give them their full title) were for expressing appreciation for family members and friends. I would go back to that.
Always show appreciation for our family members and friends ❤️
Yes, if we could stick to that Brent-Wilson, I could really live with it. And some of those Victorian cards were so pretty and very sentimental!
We once had an anti valentines evening at my singles group and it was so comical. We all recounted how we’d finally got rid of unwanted suitors. I don’t think I’ve ever been a persistent admirer but many times I’ve been mistaken for one when the object of my interest has been an entirely different person! Any stories? We should have a « people without partners » day so no one feels left out. My final dissertation at uni was on human courtship and I’m no further forward. It’s still a great mystery to me. Love to all (single and attached). Bx
Hi Batteria, thank you for sharing your lovely story. You brought back my memory of college days, living on campus and away from home. We girls did love anti Valentine’s evening esp when one of us went through heartbreak. We ended up having so much fun, bar hoping everywhere and there’re so many singles and lonely people out there that we ended up with a lot of phone numbers lol. I would say just have fun, enjoy the friendship, and let life flow at its best. Best wishes 🙏xxx
That sound very enjoyable Batteria! 👍😀
