Someone reminded me, of a book I read- many years ago now-It was called Incubus, by Ray Russell. Quite an intriguing tale of someone- or someThing- attacking, and raping, young women, in a Small American Town.
I looked on eBay, yes they DID Have It- indeed many Special, or Signed, editions... at a Price! So I looked for 'Pre-Owned', more Reasonable, but still more than I would 'normally' pay for a Paperback. One was at a 'Fairly Good' price and Open To Offers... I did so. I'm getting my book, at a Good price- with free Postage too!
I think I, now know, why dogs wag their tails😀

Hi AndrewT, that's good news. It's much better to shop around for second hand copies of the books you love. Ebay's great for tracking down that sort of thing. I can also recommend World of Books and AbeBooksUK too, which both have an enormous range of books old and new (and many which are now out of print), at reasonable prices.
Thank you.....I haven't heard of AbeBooksUK. I used to have a Second Hand Bookshop, near to where I was living- many years ago now. I Found some 'Real Gems', in there, mainly for my various nephews & nieces... even some, quite rare, Enid Blyton.
Sometimes, although I can't guarantee this currently, you can find a 'Pop Up' Bookshop- sometimes, if a lease is Running Out, the Last Few weeks (months) are Sold On. I have bought some Beautiful Books, from these Stores.... I have a Fully Illustrated WW2 , almost 'Dictionary', of all the Weaponry, Uniforms, Signals, Flags, Call Signs and Insignia, used in the Battles. Whilst this is, Very Clearly, NOT something I 'agree' with, the Book is just so detailed. It is clearly Marked £24:99, reduced to £19:99 and I paid Six Pounds, for it, along with some Other books. I have some on the Trench Warfare, of The Great War, too.
Rather like my Music Collection, my Book Collection isn't large- I haven't the room- but I Do have some Unusual/ Quirky 'Things'. I remember, a few years back, making a friend 'Roar' when I lent her 'The World's Worst Poetry' book. (there are some 'Real Clangers' in there!) Perhaps worse than Vogon Poetry? (You need to be a 'fan' of Douglas Adams, to understand that reference.)
I still have 'Somewhere' the Battle Of Trafalgar 'Commemorative' articles, pull outs and maps. If you are ever heading, to the South Coast, on the Lower section of the A3- the A3(M)- there is a sign for Waterlooville- a town originally, for the Veterans. Under 'Normal' circumstances I would have been Staying 'Down There' this year. (near Southampton)
Thanks again for 'AbeBooksUK', I will 'Look Them Up'....
Hi Andrew, I know Waterlooville well as it is also close to Portsmouth where I once lived, so I have shopped there in the past. I think that hunting down books you love from the past is a great thing. (Almost like being a book detective). I had to leave behind a lot of my favourites when I left the Caribbean to come back to England to live, but over time I have tracked down and bought replacements for every single one. A favourite book is like a best friend. You never want to be without it in your life! 🙏👍
Thanks... My book, is now, being 'Dispatched' and should be with me between, the Tenth and Twelfth. Mind you if it Arrived Tomorrow, or Next Friday, I wouldn't be 'At All' surprised!
