I have been writing a book for over ten years, I used to go down to a local cafe, sit with my laptop, correct a few words, even email out, the staff were great craic! I am retired due to being disabled and living by myself, so it was good to get some outside contacts, keep in touch with so called reality? Then in March, my doctor rang me, "you have diabetes, and go into isolation for 12 weeks!"[too many nibbles down in the cafe?] Then I heard my 'cafe' had closed, but after 12 weeks and a bit more, looking at pictures of my local cafe online [one included yours truly!] I ventured down town, last Tuesday, the cafe had reopened, under new management, but old staff! I sat down, one of the old staff "Your usual large Americano?" I am back, even a new laptop [the old one coronavirus knackered!] they are going to get tired of me down there, even get this book published, waiting for replies for submissions on it, for circa. June, even some of the prospective publishers had gone out of business? Ironically the name of the book"Bodies for Sale??" Stay Safe

Glad to hear you are back at it. My favorite coffee place is also open again. They are also coffee roasters, so the coffee is some of the best. You will have to let us know when you publish. Always up for a good book.
All the best my friend.
OOOHHH!! Bodies for sale! What is it about?
Nice to be back in familiar surroundings xx
Irish 20th century serial murderers, nice and morbid!
It will be nice to get out from that horrible isolation, affecting me more in mind than body! Stay safe leo60
Good for you. I bet it feels wonderful.
I'm so pleased that life's opening up for you again Adlon57. Now you can go out and socialise a little more, I hope you will find some fresh inspiration to move ahead with your book! 🙏😊
The book is essentially finished, but always looking for that missed dot on the i and too many crosses on the t's maybe leading to a fresher second edition? Thanks Callendersgal
Are you going to self-publish via Amazon or similar? I've done three PCa books via Amazon as well as local printing and local distribution via largish book distribution company.
Still waiting for replies from publishers, some have gone out of business due to pandemic? A rather big book 43,000 words, true crime, very specialist! Thanks AlanLawrenson!
