I thought I was in for a 'retake' of 2 days ago because when I reached the top of our hill I saw a rainbow, which was beautiful but then it started raining, fortunately it lasted only about a couple of minutes, I was more than happy with that.
I cycled into the city centre and took the pretty route home.
I cycled 22.854 miles so was happy with that and I wasn't muddy either - bonus. π
Hope you've all had a good day.

That prevented a washing machine load as well ππ I have mud guards on my bike tires! German bikes have them automatically when you buy them when I was younger Alicia!
The grass still looks so lush now, stands out more I think in Autumn π€π
Oh it certainly did.π€£π€£. I have mudguards but they aren't as good as the ones I had years ago when they covered the top part of the tyres and were quite a snug fit. Although the bigger and sturdier tyres don't give enough room for those kind of mudguards.
It really does, especially as the trees are nearly bare now. ππππ
Now that really does sound like a day, then spending ages washing the mud off.
I agree Jerry, it did look that way in the photos but I think that was the sun shining making the cloud look a lot darker. Oh it's definitely good for the soul.
A walk, not strenuous, with my youngest daughter tomorrow around Saltram Estate, National Trust grounds.
Thank you, it was windy today and after a short burst of light rain it was dry, bonus. I avoided muddy paths on purpose.π
Glad you had a lovely walk.

It was lovely seeing it. What a lovely choice of song.
Yes the battery life doesn't seem to last long on some phones.

Thank you Lynne, it was a good ride and I enjoy cycling home the countryside route.
Let's just say I'd never had mud on my helmet before ππ xxxxππππ
Lovely photos and bike ride. Fresh air good for the soul and well being! Our country lanes are too narrow for cycling for me so have my bike on a static stand in conservatory and look out at garden. Hubby cut lawns yesterday, hopefully last one?? Beautiful mild weather here in South East and no wind. π
Thank you. Totally agree that fresh air is very good, it's so good for mental health aka well being. Such a shame that the country lanes are too narrow. We have a very narrow lane going out of the village but it's not that long fortunately but I expect it's a nice view for you on to the garden.
I hope it's the last cut but you never know. It's fairly mild here in the South West and sunny today. Out for a 'normal' i.e. not a power walk later as I'm meeting my daughter as we can meet one other person outside.
You really do put me to shame with all these miles on your bike I used to bike everywhere from very young age until about 22. And I loved it. But I certainly started putting weight on when I stopped. Your Amazing. Brian
Thank you Brian but I do count myself as very fortunate to be able to do this as there are many others out there and on HU that would love to be able to exercise but because of health cannot. I'm so glad I enjoy it like I do and it makes me feel so good. It's very easy to put weight on, I've always had to watch my weight and that's where exercise comes in for me.
