It's great being outside Hiba, it makes you feel so much better. I'm fortunate in that I live right by the coast, the beach is about a 10 minute walk for me. xx ππ
I love the look of that quiet lane Alicia and the hills are just lovely. You look a little windblown but look so happy to be out on your bike whatever the weather.X
I always cycle along that quiet country road Chrys as it's not that often you see cars, particularly at the moment. It was great being out on my bike and not long until the Spring where I'll be out longer and cycle further.
Thank you. I enjoyed my lunch that's for sure π
Hiya Jerry
The countryside really is and I feel so much better for it and even better now that I read your post about the nasal spray, you've really brightened my day up so thank you.
It was a little windy out there but not too bad and it was behind me along that road on the way home.
Have a great evening.

I love the wholefood shop, they are so lovely in there and it's where I get my shredded coconut, peanuts (to make peanut butter), raw cacao powder (I use that loads), granulated stevia amongst other nuts and seeds. Life is very good.πποΈββοΈπΆββοΈπ΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈππ

I can't stop picking at it and love it. I use it to make raw fruit bars which are called 'Shanibars', recipe below:
I've been making these for around 3 years now, far better than any raw fruit bar you buy in a store.
You sound like me with your taste. xxx ππ§‘π§‘π§‘πππ€

Ohhhh My gooodnessss love dates and raw bars πππ Alicia I did try to bake n I burned it so no picture. I set my oven at 450F and stay on thinking I would check π€£π€£π€£πππ
β’ in reply to
I'm so sorry they were burnt. I've just converted the temperature you set your oven to and that was too high for the brownies, it should be 320f. I cook them on 160c fan oven, so it's quite low. Hope you give them another go xxxπππππππ

Iβm not too bright in the kitchen ainβt I πππ For sure Iβll try again this weekend at 320F and WATCH!!!!! π€¦ββοΈπβ€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπππxxx

Awaiting news of my bike . Havenβt ridden one for 45 years so will start in a car park ! Ordered last August - promised end Jan / Feb then recently an email to say May . Amazingly my husband found similar model due in next month so hereβs hoping as canβt walk very far due to pressure on hard pavements so bike may be a lifeline until I get to cause of foot problems. Await appointment for circulation tests around my toes .
I really hope you don't have to wait too much longer for your bike, that really does seem quite a long time. Ideal to start out in a quiet car park to get used to it but well done. I hope that your hubby does get his bike next month. I'm sorry you can't walk very far on hard pavements.
I fractured my foot last year in May but hadn't realised even though I was in a fair bit of pain. I soaked my foot in ice cold water every night for about 6 weeks and during that time thought well if I can't power walk then I'll get on my bike, which I did. I rode my bike with no problems whatsoever, even though unbeknown to me my foot was fractured. I started to walk again but my foot was still aching and I couldn't walk far so eventually went to the doctor, then hospital for an x ray and that's when they revealed I'd broken it but it had mended. I'm saying this so that it gives you hope for riding a bike.
Thanks so much for this as I am really looking forward to getting on a bike again . Luckily I have managed to get fairly swift appointments for my feet but it is a process of elimination to see what's wrong . It may even be my back even though I don't have pain there. We have some decent cycle paths nearby but I am slightly scared of country lanes.
You are welcome and I thought it may help as the bike can take a lot of pressure off the rest of the body. I'm so pleased you've been able to get swift appointments for your feet, that's really good. It's strange but sometimes we don't get pain where the actual problem is but they won't know until they've carried out all the tests they need to. I'm glad you have decent cycle paths where you are, unfortunately we only have one and that's really muddy at the moment so I'm not using it. We holiday in Derbyshire every year and I have to say I love their cycle tracks that they have, they are amazing.
Oh how lovely, we stay in Longnor, 6 miles from Buxton. What a beautiful place you live as you have the Tissington Trail, Monsal Trail and many others.
I bet and neither could I with the fantastic trails where you are. I'd actually guessed you lived in Derbyshire when you spoke about the trails as they are excellent.
I live near Stockport but it is 1 long road to Buxton - about 30/40 mins . The new cycle paths nearby are beside the A34 so one goes to Manchester Airport , one around Bramhall , Poynton .
Ah right, you're not far though. I love the sound of the paths. Here's to you getting your bike soon.π
So love your dedication to keeping fit Alicia and love that you love being out in all weathers! Your face says it all! πππ

Thank you Sue and I've only got one life and I'm here to make the most of it for sure. Yes since COVID I've been going out more often in inclement weather whereas before I would only ride my bike if the weather was bright. ππ
Very deceiving when you look out if the window, you open the door and it's freezing cold.
Stay safe in the snow.

Thank you, I love nature and the great outdoors.
Here's to the Spring here in the UK.ππππ xx
Not yet but we have a few Spring flowers out already πΈπΈπΉπΉπΈπππ₯°π₯°
Quite, as soon as you open the door it's a shock. I don't like the snow as it's hard to get around. Sorry your State is the worst one for drivers.
Agree re stiffer penalties.
Hope you're having a good day.πΈπΈπππ₯°πΉπΉπΉπ¦βππ
I hope it just stays pretty for you and causes no issuesββ
