Lynne is back home after her Gastroscopy this morning, the outcome is that she's got a lot of inflammation in her stomach and pyloric mucosa?? I've looked this up and I'm really none the wiser. She had biopsies and has now got to wait to see a consultant.
She has asked me to thank you all for your thoughts and messages.
Thatβs good to know she is home and had her procedure. I am ONLY GUESSING (I maybe totally wrong), maybe h. pylori ??? Wish her all the best from me.

Thank you Mandy, I'll have a look at that. I'm glad you recovered.
Oh so glad she's home again! I had gastro enteritis when young, it was horrid! That inflammation must be so painful as well! But glad that they took some biopsies now! At least something is done now! Hopefully she sees or hears of the consultant very soon Alicia ππ€
The words are right: looked it up!
The mucosa contains specialized cells and glands that produce hydrochloric acid and digestive enzymes to help digest food. The mucosa in the cardiac and pyloric regions of the stomach release mucus that helps protect the lining of the stomach from the acid produced for digestion.
So looks like her stomach lining is under constant attack because it's not protected from the acid .... Not good π₯
