i have struggled with putting ointment on my itchy back to no avail,my arms are not long enough, and only a contortionist could have been of help, however i now find a device on Amazon could help me,so i have ordered 2 of these helpers, they allow one to put ointment on and so alleviate the constant discomfort.
When living alone i realise how the most mundane task is impossible, and its been driving me crazy,i have been itching like nothing on earth,so i hope i will soon feel less itchy.

Oh I do hope this works out for you secrets22. I have ultra dry skin too and it’s just about impossible to apply cream without some kind of assistance. Do please let us know if it’s of any help! 🙏
Hello sounds interesting I hope it works for you itching causes more itching is there something you could put on like a bag of frozen peas to numb it just a thought 🤔
Thanks for sharing this link, Secrets! I use a long natural loofa and also a soft bristle back brush for applying lotions with a few drops of oil for my back. However, haven't found something that works for "scratching" through clothes. Eager to hear if this helps.
Yes I too hope that this Device works well, for you. Continual 'Itching' is Horrible, it used to drive one of my School Friends- I went to a Boarding School- absolutely 'Crazy'. Sometimes, poor Micheal, would Itch SO MUCH that he would be crying- I remember actually, trying to, Scratch him on a few occations.... his skin 'Flaking' as I did so!
In Micheal's case a, Strict Regime, of 'Emollients' and 'Othe Creams' DID finally end, much of, his Problem.
Can I ask you, secrets22, if this Device IS 'Helpful' NOT to keep it a 'Secret' Please? Can you let us 'all' know, the details, please?
hey Andrew.....yes,constant itching is an absolute pain especially when you try to apply medication on your back when living alone, its neigh impossible.
Of course i will report back once the 'enabler' has arrived, its no secret, and it should be of help to others with the same problem.
keep well.
