This weekend will be our Ruby wedding anniversary and of course the celebration will be much lower key than we had originally wanted.
Our dear friends with whom we have been in a bubble with are planning a day for us on Sunday but this afternoon turned up for coffee with these beautiful flowers. Feel quite spoilt and much loved.

Congratulations! Ours was on March 22nd and were planning to go to Majorca. But my husband gave me a beautiful ring and I baked a chocolate cake which we shared virtually with our boys and their families.

So much has been cancelled this year. We have lost so many holidays but have to be grateful for health and each other. Congratulations to you too.
So have we missed lots of things which was why I had cried last month over the local lockdown whispers as it had felt like a right smack in the face thinking we were getting things and no we weren't!
I would rather go without than get led to believe I am getting something and then no I'm not as when you go without you haven't lost anything.
It will come right in time and God willing we shall be able to travel again.
Of course it will it's just that it feels like the end of the world when these disappointments happen.
I bet you were gutted getting Majorca cancelled when you were looking forward to it.
Last month I had cried when I heard the whispers about local lockdown and autumn events getting cancelled that I had been looking forward to as it had felt like a right smack in the face!
