I'm on annual leave this weekend so my sister and I decided on another pub lunch, we decided to go to one we went to in July, and after checking the website their breakfasts were on a bogof, booked table for 11.45, arrived and were given lunch menu, no problem with that, 2 mains and 2 drinks were less than £20.00, so we were pleased with that, sister asked if I wanted to go anywhere else but the weather was so terrible she brought me straight back, she's now gone back home and I've got the washing going, stay safe in this terrible weather everyone x😂

There's lovely a pub lunch out!
Decided to stay in today and watch DVDs and old episodes of coronation st from 1985 and read as well.
Looks like it was a blessing in disguise that the trip out for today did end up cancelled due to the horrid weather as we probably wouldn't have enjoyed it there anyway but still when the lockdown were announced I was disappointed and angry though but now I feel its an accidental favour as its saved us some money and thankfully we didn't have to sit on the train and go in the public spaces with those wretched masks!
No one likes those masks do they?
Great Jennymary, We all need a treat now and again to keep us going. Things are going to be a lot tougher before they start to get better, so it makes sense to do something that's sensibly managed and fairly safe, whenever we can. I think the only thing for it was to go home afterwards! I bet even ducks haven't enjoyed the last couple of days!

Today we decided to stay in with some books and DVDs and old episodes of coronation st due to the weather!
Personally I have come round to the idea that the government have accidentally done us here a favour in locking us down and today's trip getting cancelled as we wouldn't have enjoyed it anyway with the rain and we have saved ourselves some money as well in the process.

What a lovely pub lunch you had and so reasonably priced with the BOGOFF deal. I'm so glad you had a lovely time with your sister. I agree, the weather isn't the best is it so a good choice to just go back home and get the washing done.
