I went out on my bike today and avoided the muddy paths, I didn't fancy having to wash a rucksack and shoes. I took the prettiest route I could though and it was lovely. I felt a little light rain on me which only lasted for around 2 minutes, it was dry the rest of the time and we also had some sun - bonus.
I cycled 46.96 km which equates to 29.18 miles.
Hope you've all had a good day.

Not a bright day today really in your vicinity, but yes can tell you love horses Alicia! Glad didn't rain madly on you! Years ago I walked home from work here in Ripon! I was completely wet through from head to toes, rained like a torrent! Then a car drove past and splashed me on top of it all π
Yes I really do. Fantastic part of England you live in, the fantastic North. Fortunately apart from a few light spots of rain it was dry, I was very happy about that. Oh isn't it the worse when you sudden and then you get splashed by a vehicleπ
Hi Alicia! I agree that puddles and mud are fun when someone else gets to remove the mud, but quite agree it's best avoided if you are going to have to do it yourself! Glad you enjoyed your ride.

Yes they're fun if when you get back someone else cleans the mud offπ. It was good thank you Sue.π΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈ
Thank you Dave, it was dry yesterday apart from the odd little drop of rain that lasted no longer than around 2 minutes. It's very mild here at the moment so not too bad, I'm riding in short sleeves as it doesn't take long for me to warm up.
I'm glad your riding season lasted longer, that's a bonus.
I've seen a few people riding on paths here with their dogs running alongside them, it's really good to see.
Wow!; Nearly 30 miles!! You are such an inspiration to me. I will have to stick to my pedals I'm writing some of my Christmas cards today!! I normally have them done and posted by 29th!!! All my love Lynne xxxx β€οΈπ€ππΉππ» xxxx

Thank you, I know if I stop that'll be it and it'll take a long time to build the strength and energy back up again, it's better for me to keep going. I live in the South Hams right on the coast, it's not far from Plymouth in Devon.
Yes, definitely! I grew up living on the coast and Iβve lived inland twice - and was so miserable, I would never move inland again. On my last move I went from being half a mile from the beach to being about one and a half miles away and thatβs far enough!
Totally agree re being miserable living inland in a city, no thank you. I'll never live in a city.
Hi, I love the pics you sent in π can I just ask you a question if you don't mind,,, I would love to be like you to get up and have the motivation to do the things you do , what is it that keeps you motivated that keeps you marching on , I used to be like that but got a bit lost a few years ago. I hope you don't mind me asking .π

Thank you Loki. I don't mind you asking the question at all. There are some days where I think I can't be bothered and would be happy to just sit and have coffee, I love coffee by the way. When I feel like this I stop and think to myself on how good I feel when I'm exercising, it's so good for mine and a lot of other people's mental health. It also keeps the weight at a healthy range as well.
Sit down, talk to yourself in your mind and then list the positives on keeping fit, which could include keeping a healthy weight, having a happier mindset etc etc.
Best of luck and I hope that you get out there πππ

You are welcome. Oh I do love my coffee but I save it for when I get back after my walk/bike ride etc. I've got a day off tomorrow as I'm going to see my daughter.
Positive thinking and write them down, it does work.
Great country there. Keep the pics coming. I thought I would get in one more ride but the gravel roads got muddy after a warm up. The cold front came in with snow so I think I'm done for the year. I have studded snows on another bike but I'm not liking the cold in my face and cold hands anymore. I got to put 670 miles on the bike this year, somewhat less than last year but its a big deal for me, not for the serious biker. Keep on bikin.
Thank you and I certainly will. I won't be on the bike quite as much as the cycle tracks are very muddy now and now a joy to ride on, particularly as the bike wheels can slip at time. Now that is a cold front and I certainly wouldn't bike in the snow and I agree cold hands and a cold face isn't nice.
Well done on the 670 miles, that's awesome, keep going and don't be hard on yourself because it's less than last year.
You keep on biking as well.π΄ββοΈπ΄ββοΈ
