A busy day today

Hi all, hope you've all had a good day and the weather has been kind to you, it's been bright here and breezy.

Hubby and me did the housework this morning, went to the garden centre to get some canes for the drawf beans and more compost. I planted some carrots today.

We had lunch and then I went on a ride to a shop that's out of the city centre and of course cycled back the pretty route. I cycled 26.961 miles, so nearly 27 miles. The cream coloured horse let me stroke it again today.

That is very good going, housework, 27 mile bike ride and beautiful horses along the way. I must say all your pictures are lovely but I have just notice the one with the green fields and rolling clouds. I am thinking of practicing my trees tonight and that would make a lovely back drop, If I could paint it right. I might give it a go. Have a lovely evening. 😁🐴🌳

Thank you Bobby, it was good to get the housework out of the way, the horses were beautiful and the light coloured one let me stroke it.

Ooh I'd love the see the picture when you've painted it.

Spent today looking up the u3A movement. Tonight I met a friend at the train station and we went to have dinner at a local restaurant.

Thanks. After looking at the menu we decided to order. We spent a long time discussing our food options however. I loved it. They gave us free wine and beer at the bar downstairs when we ordered our food eventually. It was quiet.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful photos with us .The white horse looks so chilled out. Sounds like you had a great day. Thank you and yes it is!! When we go to see our other son and his girlfriend in Cambridge I have to fight to wash up!! I sometimes win but only if they've left one or two pots from the night before because as you know I'm up very early 😉 they are all good with me including Mike's girlfriend Alannah xxxx

Thank you Sheila, it was a lovely ride and I shop around now a lot more since the lockdown hence making the most of my bike.

Thank you Jerry and yes we packed it in to the day.

The cream coloured horse I think is getting used to me now, nervous for a few seconds and is then happy to be stroked.
