GROAN! Used to love spam fritters many years ago before I stopped eating meat. A cafe would serve them with wavy chips and mushy peas, plus white bread and butter. Plus ketchup. Yum. 🙂🌸

Used to eat loads of spam when I was a kid, I'm sure it tasted better then!. Xx

I never had eaten spam, but I had something that was like it as a Vegetarian imitation.😀👍🌈

I think our tastes change throughout our lives. I used to like blokes in flares. (Giving my age away!) 😱🌸

I had flares, and cloggs. 🙂x

I left the flares to the blokes, but I did have clogs! 😁🌸

Yesterday, along with the coaching inn, I did St Katherine's dock by the Tower, Southwick Cathedral (really interesting) and Borough market. Didn't think people would be interested in boats, pubs and markets. Also my phone was playing up photo wise so decided not to post, I will go back though.

Best Barry

Good morning! Love your posts.

Was it busy at st Katherine’s dock, Borough market?

Bazzak profile image
BazzakReading Rabbits in reply to Agoodenough

ST Katherine's dock was was deserted, cafes open but very quiet. The market was busier but no problem whatsoever social distancing, I hadn't been to the market before very interesting place, a bit like being on holiday abroad with all the spices, olive oils, cheese stalls etc. Xx

Hello Barry

This all sounds so very interesting, there is truly so much to see and do around London. You have proven this by your many posts, all full of facts that are worth learning with interesting photographs.

Whether you have an hour to visit a location or a day, you have shown that there is so much of interest everywhere.

Thank you, enjoy your day, Tim.
