Photo 1/ just a tree that I found fascinating.
Photo 2/ The tomb of Sir John Soane and family, Soane is most famous for being the architect of the Bank Of England building. He designed this tomb for his wife in 1815, what makes it more interesting, is it influenced Giles Gilbert Scott to design the British telephone box in the same fashion .
Photo 3/ Is Hardy's tree, I will put a link up if you are interested.
Photo 4/ Baroness Burdett Coutts Memorial Sundial, very interesting lady who did so much good with the wealth she inherited. My Frank actually attends Burdett Coutts school, again too much to type, so here is a wiki link in interested.
Angela Georgina Burdett-Coutts, Baroness, was born in London on April 21, 1814. She took the name of Coutts in 1837 when she inherited the Coutts’ family banking fortune from her grandfather, Sir Thomas Coutts. She was influenced by two of her great friends, Charles Dickens and the Duke of Wellington, in deciding to use her money for philanthropy; and they advised her how to conserve her wealth while using it to the best advantage. If you look at her legacy on her wiki page, she was an amazing lady
Here is a link to the church and it's history again if interested,
