Discounts on electric bikes?

On Tuesday the Times carried a headline Taxpayer funded electric bikes (as in one third off) to encourage people to get fit, but only in England. Anyone heard anything?

I’ve heard about a £50 voucher for bike repairs, but nothing about electric

The annoying thing is, shops will probably bump the bike prices up to take advantage. They are already too expensive for what they are.

They already pumped up prices , Argos being one of them. That was about 2months or so ago

All I've heard is that the website crashed, not sure if it's up and running now, but I'd be interested as to where that leaves me as I have a visual Impairment so wouldn't be allowed on the road

I've heard about discounts on normal bikes but not electric ones.
